What a lip filler appointment involves.
- Should I start with a mini or a full lip?
- A mini adds a little definition and lets you live with it before deciding on more. A full lip builds more shape in a single visit. Either way we build toward balance rather than volume, and your injector will say which one fits what you described.
- What does it feel like?
- We numb you first, and the fillers themselves carry a local anesthetic, so it reads as pressure more than pain. Your comfort sets the pace throughout, and we stop whenever you want a moment.
- How long is the appointment?
- Plan on about 45 minutes to an hour. That includes the welcome, the conversation about what you are after, and the numbing step. The injecting itself is a small part of the visit.
