The short answer

What is microneedling?

Microneedling uses a device with very fine needles to create tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. That gentle process prompts your skin to produce fresh collagen as it renews, which can soften the look of texture, fine lines, and scarring over a series. The results are natural and build gradually rather than instantly.

What to expect

Before you book, the honest details.

Will it hurt?
We apply a numbing cream first, so most people feel light pressure or vibration more than pain. Some areas near bone can feel more sensitive, and we adjust as we go with your comfort leading the way.
How long does it take?
Plan on about an hour, including time for the numbing cream to take effect. The treatment portion itself is fairly quick and focused.
Is there any downtime?
Expect to look flushed, a little like a mild sunburn, for a day or so, sometimes with slight dryness as the skin renews. Many people are comfortable back at work the next day with gentle care and sunscreen.
How long until I see results, and how many sessions?
Because it works with your own collagen, results build over weeks rather than instantly. Most people do a series of about three sessions spaced roughly a month apart, then maintain. We will map a realistic plan for your skin.
